Make sure your laptop is charged, and then try again, if it does not work call technical support, you may need to send in for repairs.

Help please


Try booting up into Windows Safe Mode (F8 during bootup or watch for an option for Boot Menu) and see if you're having the same issue.

Usb boot


In the BIOS bootup options if you cannot select a USB port/device as a boot device then this laptop cannot boot up using an USB device.

Pcg-r505gl will not bootup


If this has a CD drive boot from a cd copy of Windows, this will get you booted. Fixing the problem will take some detective work.

HOW TO ENTER CMOS SETUP OR BIOS SETUP OF SONY VGN-FW290E OR HOW TO INSTALL WIN XP IN THIS NOTEBOOK


To enter the CMOS setup BIOS you hit f2 during the power on. After you enter the bios to the boot up screen and select first boot up = CD ROM. Save the configuration and reboot. Now pop in your windows XP cd into the CDROM, your computer will bootup from the CDROM. You can now reinstall windows.

when you start click on F8 and try to go to the prompt C; and go to the root directory and see if you have a very large file that you do not know delete that file and try again and see

My Viao will bootup and then restart after a couple of minutes. This continues until I finally unplug the PC.


Boot loops when the op sys is corrupted.
Can you get into safe mode f8 key and see if it is stable if not reload the OpSys.

Slow to bootup then slow to connect to web


Change or add an extra hard drive of sollid state drive whill let your laptop fly. Check the post how to do it.
