My jail broken and unlocked iphone has been working very well, until today, January 25,2009 when I updated to 1.1.4 with the intention of updating to 2.2.After updateing, my itunes was not able to recognise my phone, and I then I did the all Reset and now I have the emergency screen.
I just realised I should have restored instead of updating, but can someone tell me how to get my iphone to synch with my itunes.

Are you asking about network unlock code or security unlock code? if you are here for network unlock then i am here to help you. Unlocking Iphones at free of cost is not possible. There are many
methods available to unlock Iphones. Some are software, cables, codes
etc... But unlocking Iphones using these is not a permanent unlocking
solution. If you upgrade or update your Iphone4 which get unlocked using
those above methods will get locked to its network again. To fix this
unlock your Iphone4 using factory unlocking or any other permanent
unlocking solution. Recently i too have unlocked my Iphone4 using
remote unlocking service at the site Mobile-Unlocker.com
,which is a permanent unlocking solution. And also jail breaking is not
necessary in this unlocking method of Iphones.
When it comes to unlocking Iphones, Remote unlocking is the best method to be followed or used. . you can unlock your phone instantly within few minutes. This site offers Theunlockspot.com remote unlock for the iPhone. here are the instructions to follow while unlocking the iphone. Just to give you a run down. When they said it was jail breaked or jail broken this means they ( the place you got it from ) have voided the warranty of the phone and broken the terms and conditions of the contract with apple and have unlocked it to any cellular network ie before you tried to upgrade it on itunes it would of worked with any network ie T Mobile etc
Because it was jail broken by the person at the store you got it from and you tried to update it over itunes , itunes and the firmware update detected this and has consequently locked the iphone so you cant do anything with it unless you apply the latest jail break to it or you go back to the shop and get a refund and buy from somewhere reputable ie an apple store or a cell phone place that is big.
I would suggest getting a refund and getting a normal one as jail breaked phones will always have the issue where everytime itunes releases an update it will re lock it if you try to update it through itunes which is a pain and the amount of stuff you have to do to re apply or get it re unlocked is a nightmare.
Easier to get one that is not unlocked and that way you can upgrade it with piece of mind and know it will update with out any issues.
