Question about Vacuums
Switches on electrical components aren't made for a lifetime. They want it to last for a long time but there is possibly a factory fault in it. Either way you'll need a new switch put in it. If you send it out for repair you'll find out it's not cheap, got a handy friend?

It could be 1 of 3 things:
1. The belt that drives the beater bar.
2. An impeller that has a broken wing or 2, throwing it off balance.
3. Or, the bearings in the motor are going out.

Next to the power switch is another button, this switches the brushbar on and off. The brushbar can be turned off for hard floor surfaces so as not to scratch them
