These thread sizes are all the same for a threaded shaft motor. The impellers are universal as far as that goes.
The question you should ask is about the hp of the impeller and match that to the model of pump you have.

How to install a mechanical seal ?

I would suggest you try and find a schematic of the and go from there.
Here's a search for that pump
https://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=ytff1-&p=davey%20fire%20single%20impeller%20pumpfighter&type=
My experience with seals on those types of pumps(never done davies) is to remove the outboard housing--- then remove the impeller----take the nut off---then get a piece of brass or very hard plastic (buffer)-- put this on the end of the shaft---then hit it with a hammer---you will need help with this as someone to pull on the impeller while you strike the buffer---after that done, then remove the inside housing---find a socket or piece of pipe/tubing that the size of the seal and drive it out----depending on mfg the seal's removal usually it's is driven from the impeller side out of the inboard housing (some are opposite)---it's nice to have a press but not everybody has one in their cellar----make sure you clean and buff the shaft before reversing procedure careful not to hit cut or score new seal when installing it-- that's about the best I can do for you---it's like trying to cut hair over a telephone

2000 650 vstar with hardkrome pipes and hypercharger. What would be the proper main jet and pilot jet sizes

Use a DYNAJET kit & go with the directions. Or check with the Hypercharger manufacture for correct jetting. But you will still need different needles & main jets for those pipes.

How do I lock the shaft so that I can remove the impeller?

remove the cap at the rear of the motor. you'll see the shaft under the thermal overload. Take a 7/16 or 1/12 wrench depending on shaft size, turn the impeller until you see the slot for the wrench. you may have to remove the starting compassitor to make some more room. Hold your wrench with one hand and remove the impeller. ***some impellers have a lock screw in the middle of them, if you have one it is left handed threads, this must be removed before the impeller can be removed.

Waterway model # pf-50-2n22c

The wet end of pumps come off this way.

  • Remove the face plate of the pump.
  • Put a large flat-head screw driver on the back of the motor on the shaft going thru the motor.
  • Grasp the impeller (with the screw driver in place on the back of the motor) and unthread the impeller counter clockwise.
  • If it doesn't unthread you will need to bust it off
  • On the back of the motor you will find 4 small bolts 1/4" size that run all the way through the motor and thread into the four fingers of the wet end.
  • Unthread those 4 bolts and you can then remove the volute from the motor.

Ryobi 18V blower model p2100A has a broken impeller. How do I get a replacement part?

Ryobi does have an impeller that fits the 40400 model which is a bigger 40v unit! however the fan looks the same in the pic,

I'm guessing it may be scaled up to a larger size but perhaps have the same thread pattern?

anyway we love our two p2102 blowers they keep the porches and decks happy!

I'm gonna buy a few impellers and try to finagle them!

my guess is I may have to hook them up to a drill and use a file to cut them down to size (like you would use a wood lathe)

thus keeping the thing round and true

hope this helps I found the thing on ereplacementparts.com

price 2.60$ per impeller, worth a shot!!

ill post a youtube if this works!

I have a whisperflo. I've ran the motor without water and it's quiet. Add water and it makes a pretty good racket (not a bearing whine). I've even tested without my filters to eliminate head pressure) ...

Yes the impeller is screwed on right handed normal thread. *** Info below pasted form one of my other posts *** You need to lock the motor and unscrew impeller. Depending on the motor, you remove a cap in the middle of the tail piece and hold with a wrench, (usually 9/16") or remove a cap that covers the whole end and grab the shaft with a wrench (usually 7/16") by sliding it under one of the components (not sure exact part off top of my head have to look at it) and then turning impeller. If the impeller has a bolt or screw in the middle remove that first. (you already did this.) It should be reverse thread so make sure you don't turn the wrong way and break or strip. If there is no screw, or after you've removed it, just spin the impeller off (it should be counter clockwise standard thread). If you can't do it by hand and assuming you don't have an impeller wrench, be very careful and use a large pliers, pipe wrench, or strap wrench to loosen it.
