I am unable to help you with this. How did you get the agent you need to talk to? Does this agent have an email address or phone number?

I would like to speak with a person over the phone about a problem with my Yahoo mail. What telephone number can I dial? Thank you- Jon Simon

Since Yahoo could get thousands of calls, they limit support to their help screens. You need to thind the answer within their help system or send them an email and HOPE for answer.

Well i locked up my dvd /vcr combo

I don't have a solution for your problem, but I would suggest first checking with the manufacturer's technical support site. I have found that usually, most of your questions regarding problems with a product can be answered there. I have not used this particular product, but I have encountered the same issue with another similar product. After much research, it was cheaper for me to just buy another one. The cost was more to repair than to replace. I hope the manufacturer's technical support site can help. (Personally, I prefer to speak directly to an agent, so I usually try to find a toll free telephone number.) Best of luck!

The model of my AT&T answering machine is 1720...it is linked to a Brother's fax machine...when a call comes in I am not able to pick up the phone and interrupt the message from the answering machine...

Connect the telephone line of the answering machine from the series connection of the facts machine
.Now set the number of rings for the answering machine to activate to the maximum.{This is found on the side of the machine as a reed switch.}
Now when the calls comes in there is enough time for you to allow it to the answering machine or to attend a call or to set it to facts if a document is comming.While you are away you have to decide the priority needed for either facts or answering as it is a commonline. If answering machine has to work set the facts to telephone mode.If facts has to work set it to facts as the machine will activate before the answering machine.

What does "TAD" mean when it appears on the screen?

TAD is Telephone Answering Device. TAD mode is the only mode that can be used with an external telephone answering device (unless you are using a distinctive ring number for receiving faxes). Your telephone answering device must be connected to the jack on the fax machine (labeled "EXT" for USA). When someone dials your telephone/fax number (to send a fax or to speak to you), all the telephones (including the FAX) will ring according to the number of rings you set on the TAD. The Ring Delay setting is not recognized in the TAD mode. If you do not answer the call, the TAD will answer. As your outgoing message is playing, the Fax is in the background, silently listening for fax tones. If the FAX hears fax tones, it will automatically go into the receive mode. If the FAX does not hear fax tones, it remains silent, allowing the caller to leave a message. The above information is correct for a Brother fax machine. Is your fax automatically picking up the call or do you have to push a panel button to start the receive fax process? Perhaps the fax is already "in" your fax machine's memory and only needs a manual printout. Check the fax call log.

Lucent 960 corded telephone

I know this was posted 2 years ago, but I'll try to answer the questions anyway.

1) By itself, the AT&T 960 telephone does not have the ability to forward calls. That would be a function of your service provider (or in this case the PBX that it is connected to).

2) How to forward calls varies from PBX to PBX. You would need to speak with someone who administers the telephone system.
