Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
It could be the software you are trying to run the DVD with. Check the software against other DVD's. If not it could be your audio drivers or audio codec.
May I suggest http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html for watching videos.
If it is an audio codec issue try this.
