I have a Yamaha dtexpress. Very old, but works great. Except the snare sound. It is stuck on bongos. Is there a factory reset for the dtxpress?

1) Press the [UTIL] button.

2) Press the [PAGE DOWN] button until the 'Factory Set' screen appears. The message 'Factory Set' will begin flashing on the LCD.

3) Press the [SAVE/ENT] button. The LCD will display the message prompt, 'All data will be lost, Are You Sure?'.

4) Press the [SAVE/ENT] button again to complete the Factory Reset procedure.

Two of the pads on my Yamaha DD55c drum machine do not seem to be triggering properly. For example, if I hit the snare pad it seems to always be triggering at a low velocity, but if I strike it flat with...

A weak snare is a characteristic of these... The triggers are typically piezo discs that were often used in musical cards but those have now gone to using very flat little speakers... You may find some have been dislodged or broken loose... worth a look inside.

Every time i hit it anywhere on the front the snares shake, whats wrong?

Absolutely NOTHING is wrong. The snare drum resonates. The only solution is to NOT let th snare drum "hear" the Cajon... This is a common problem... Other instruments can also trigger the snares... SOME people add clearance of the snares to the drum to avoid some of the problem.

The snare connectors on my premier snare drum are loose. how tight should they be?

It should be adjusted just tight enough so the snare doesn't rattle when it is not on.
