I have an LG flip phone and I am not sure of the model, but on the sceen it says "car kit" and I dont know how it got on there I do not even have a car kit. I can still text message, but when I call people you can tell that my phone is working but I cannot hear it ringing and the people on the other end cannot hear me. I have tried going to settings and I still cant figure it out....PLEASE HELP
I just used a pipe cleaner to clean out the connector at the bottom and it solved this problem on my wifes phone. but be advised it may bend and damage the pins on the bottom side.
My phone got wet and had this problem. I put the blow dryer on low and aimed it at the phone for 20 minutes. Still was the same. Next morning I woke up and it worked fine. Must have dried out.
Probably your board has corrosion inside or in the receptacle or your receptacle has been broken the only solution for this problem is changing the receptacle and your phone will be working perfectly again
MY LG flip just did the same thing. I took it in and they said there was some corrosion in the battery charger area from water. They had to replace my entire phone. I have a 15 month old that plays with it.
