Question about Apple 20gb Ipod Mp3 Player With Click Wheel System
I have an Ipod 3rd Generation 20GB. When I power it on, the apple logo appears and then it shows a folder. I cant get it to work at all. Can someone tell me what the folder means and how I can fix this. Thank you
Test the hard drive by holding menu+centre to reset and immediatly holding left+centre when it reboots to enter the ipod diagnostic menu. Use the right arrow to highlight the Memory or HDD menu. Select it and you should be able to find out if the drive is dead.
If the drive is ok, try restoring the ipod through itunes.
Post back here if the drive is wrecked.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
