is the drum turning?if the drum is ok sounds like the thermo fuse on the heater box failed, most of the time it's from a clogged dryer vent hose or wall vent, let me know what you find-mike

L G DRAYER , HEATER NOT WORKING

Had the same problem on a whirpool drayer. Get our multimeter and check which heat fuse is broken. Take that one out and throw it in the floor until you have conductivity again. Clean drayer vents and heater. This worked for me, good luck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuFQOuSlzlw

Drayer problem

Check the belt, you access toi the belt by removing the back panel.

If belt is ok, then check the timer control, the motor, and the motor control unit, that is an electronic board, usually protected by an insulating box inside the appliance.

There are also a couple of circuit breakers you should check.

Entering the model number here you get the exploded view, and replacement parts.

Dryer not starting

Dryer needs a new motor. I changed the thermal fuse and the dryer worked for a minute then stopped without the ability to restart.

Tumble dryer

Can be a few things. Start by resetting your circuit breaker. The dryer motor can run with partial power but the heating element cannot. Make sure your not set to a no heat setting. After those checks you have to get into the mchine to check your heating element and thermostats.

Drayer working but no heat

No heat may mean that one side of the 240 volt circuit breaker is tripped or one fuse of the 240v circuit at the fuse/breaker box is tripped. Just replace/reset the fuse or breaker which ever you have.
Dryers will have controls working but not heat if it happens to be that particular side of the 240v circuit that tripped or fuse burned.
