after an exhaustive internet search i have determined that you WILL NOT CURRENTLY find drivers for this product and windows vista ultimate. This is a problem that continues to plague vista ultimate (poor device driver support) and is unlikely to be resolved in the future as you are given the option to freely upgrade to windows 7 if you purchased a copy. I suggest installing XP, or Win7 if you still wish to use this product unless you want to make your own driver pack.
Yes you can..
Just boot from the vista disc and when you are given the install options just select the primary drive.
It will ask you about overwrite or install to another drive etc but you would just select the overwrite.
It would then offer you the format options and you should choose a full format. (I find it better not to quick format)
Hi, Unfortunatley your answer is within your question, in which you say it only came with Driver Support for Win 98, 2000 & XP, basically meaning that your Camcorder is not compatible with Windows Vista. The only 3 Possible choices you have are to
1. Use a friend's PC who has XP installed, and Transfer the Files through using their System.
2. Remove Windows Vista, and Install Windows XP
3. Wait until your Camcorder is supported by Windows Vista.
I seriously should not wait for Option 3 though, as I've had a Philips Webcam for over 2-3 yrs now, and is still not supported by Windows Vista.
Actually the problem is that your photo software dont support windows -vista. So if you want to know that it supports window vista......use google.com and find it that by now it supports vista or not..
