Question about RoadPro Road Pro 12 Volt Dc Portable Battery Jump Starter & Air Compressor 12V Dc Portable Battery Jump Starter & 260 Psi Air Compressor
After I've charged the charger and the status light is green I hooked it up to the battery and pressed the yellow button and the light in the front came on. I then tried to start the car. Nothing happened. There was the same weak response that occurred before I used the charger. I then left the charger hooked up to the battery for 1/2 hour or so and tried aqain. No response. There is a little red button in the back of the charger. Am I supposed to push that in? Or is there something else I'm supposed to do to make the charger work?
It's possible you may have a poor connection from your car to your car battery. Check to make sure both battery terminals are on your battery tight. Tighten them if necessary, then try again. If either one was loose, that should fix the problem. Then there may be nothing wrong with your battery charger.

There is a battery inside which may need to be replaced. To check, run the compressor (it runs off
the battery) - if the compressor dies quickly, then the battery has failed to charge and would
need to be replaced. You may want to check your Warranty Management software (or
shoebox) to see if your Starter/Air Compressor is still under warranty - if so, replace it.
Duralast products are carried exclusively by AutoZone, Inc.
The Duralast web site: www.duralastparts.com is useless - it only shows automotive parts,
and I cannot find the product at www.autozone.com, so it seems that AutoZone fails to support this
product with replacement batteries or other replacement parts (or even an online Users manual).
