SOURCE: In the middle of a video, playing from a thumb

It sounds like there could be an issue with the codecs of the file. Does it happen to all files you are watching. Also what type of files is this happening on? AVI, MP4....etc. Also make sure that the File system of the thumb drive is in FAT. Check to see if you have the latest update from the PSN.

SOURCE: play station 3 dvd remote pairing instructions.

OK I FIGURED IT OUT!!! First turn off the system(ps3) make sure that you take the batteries out of the remote. Then when you turn it back on go straight to system setting, setting accessories, setting blue tooth device. AND THEN IT WILL TELL YOU TO HOLD DOWN THE START AND ENTER BUTTON DOWN!. Don't forget to put the batteries back into the remote. It took like 3 seconds.

SOURCE: my ps3 not working

Sony used a bad batch of lasers on earlier models of ps3. Mostly 40 and 60 gig but like any other electrical component it has the chance of taking a s**t. Sony will replace or repair your system if the warranty sticker is still on the console, if now open the BD and replace the laser with a new laser (not refurbished). I have taken hundreds of these apart and its always the same. The laser burns out mostly due to **** on the disk itself so be sure to have nothing on the disk.

Can I import camera pics to a Dobly Home Theater laptop, by Acer?

First a nitpick: your memory card is Memory Stick Pro Duo, it's not an SD card. Secure Digital is one specific type of memory card, distinct from xD, CF, Memory Sticks, and other memory card types.

Okay, not that I've got that off my chest, yes you can import pics to your laptop. Just connect a card reader to the USB port and then put your Memory Stick into the reader. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files.

Card readers should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. One important point to remember is to make sure you get a card reader that can read Memory Stick Pro Duos. If you get, for example, an SD card reader, it won't do you any good.

Want to download mg\y photos & videos to my laptop

The best way to download photos and videos from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy photos and videos from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo/video cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Use a card reader. Since your computer has a USB port, you can get a card reader that reads SDHC cards. This is exactly how I do it on my computer.

Can't play back videos on my experna; memory card Sandisk class 4 8Gb. Have a canon Vixia HFR10 camcorder

Okay, ours is a different brand (JVC) but they may have some basic similarities in function. To playback video clips stored on the memory card, put the memory card in the card reader slot of the computer and put the files onto the computer. Playback the clips from your computer video or photo file. (Ours won't playback video stored on the memory card through the camera.)

To playback video clips stored on the camera hard drive through the camera, we open the viewer screen, look at the function keys on the camera body, select the "Play" button. On the screen it displays thumbnails of the various video clips. We use the toggle/function key to select from the menu containing options for playback, edit, delete, protect, etc.

How to recover pictures which are accidentally formatted in Fuji film finepix JV200

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in camera erased permanently. You can still recover pictures with camera format recovery software, recommended asoftech photo recovery as I used the program before, it's quite easy to use and works well for me
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Make sure you're using an SD card, 2GB or smaller. The M407 does not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

No pictures message showing on blue screen when card is full

Try this...Download the camera photo undelete program Asoftech Photo Recovery from
http://www.asoftech.com

You must not take anymore pictures on your card. You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader.Put the card in the card reader, open the the program, select the drive where you recover pictures from, then click on start. Wait, for it to do it's magic.

You need to use a card reader either one already in your computer (some have one, some don't). Or buy an external USB card reader. They are around 10.00 and can be found at walmart, bestbuy, frys, probably target.
The problem with built in card readers is that they will usually only read up to a 2G card.

I was not able to recover photos by hooking the camera up to the pc with the usb cord, it just won't work.

This is the important part. Choose the pics you want to recover, then choose recover, a box comes up asking where you want to save to. Choose documents/my pictures or wherever you want to save your pictures too. The pictures ONLY save to your pc and not the card.

Format your card in the camera after you have retrieved your photos and backed them up to an external source.
