Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I recently updated to update 5.03 and now my PSP can't connect to the internet. I've tried everything including resetting my router, resetting my PSP back to default setting, simply turning my PSP off, taking out the battery, sitting closer to the wireless router and PLENTY of other things.
It always comes up with the error message:
A connection error has occured. The connection to the access point timed out.
By the way, I know for a fact that I am entering the correct WPA key to connect, because I've used it so many times.
My security settings for my wireless connection are:
Please help me... my PSP is a paperweight because the internet is my ONLY use for it.
Ok change the encryption type to WEP and then for security try to enable mac addressing. try it in a web encryption. if this wont work then you will have to install the net connect software

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
