Visually check the clutch spring (located on the left side of the pickup roller shaft, just before the gear). If the spring is deformed or broken, replace the entire pickup roller shaft. The part you need to order are shown below. You will also need a small 'C' clip. I do not know if the clip comes ith the shaft or the gear...

Pick shaft

PA03360-Y112
Pick Bearing ‘M’

PA03360-Y107
Clutch

PA03360-Y106
Clutch Spring

PA03360-Y105
Pick Gear

Its the gear behind the gear thats attached to the big feed roller. Remove the feed roller and the axle its attached to. Behind the geared wheel connected on the left of the axle you will find a tooth missing. Its the drive gear for the feed roller.

I had a similar problem. All I did was unplug the USB cable from the scanner and reattach it. Sometimes I would have to close scansnap (blue "S" icon in the sys tray at the bottom right), and then power on the scanner.

How do i delete error pages after scaanning?

I changed the settings from duplex (double sided) scanning to simplex (single sided) scanning under the settings tab in the scansnap organiser. this was ok since i had all one-sided documents to scan. you would need to reverse this settings change anytime you have a double-sided document to scan.

Error when scanning over 6 pages

I thing you exceeded the data limit so cut the last 5 pages and paste to one new document now scan the new document then cut the new document and paste it to original document. that's it.

My Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 only flashes 5 blue lights

I got off the phone with Fujitsu and i was told you need to make sure that the ScanSnap Icon is in the system tray without a Red Line cross through it, so if it is not in your system tray start the snap scan program, if it's disabled re-enable it and you should be good.
