We need to run .m files from visual basic for our project 
we are using vb6 and matlab7.1

Vb interface of a matlab m-file dispalays no results


Lookup how to run in debug mode you can watch where it goes wrong.

VB 6.0 is very old. Is there are reason you are learning this language?

C# is much more popular these days and microsoft provide lots of free tools to developers these days.

Connecting VB 6.0 with matlab


You can copy or move a file using VB from one folder in your file system to another (matlab's) using VB6. Outside of this, you would need to be more detailed with your request please.

To do this you would most likely need to purchase a third-party OCX and add it to the project. I've used VB6 since its release and never saw that capability built-in.
