Question about Viper Security and Remote Start System (basic install included)
When i attempt to remote start the engine wont even crank over. if i have the vechicle started by key and swith over the to remote from there when i remove the key the engine dies.
The viper alarm is malfunctioning , it is supposed to bypass the key ignition and or chip in the key to allow it to start , you will need to look for a reset button( under the dash and just two wires going to the button)( stuffed under the dash ) ( not the switch) , this should let you start it but if the alarm components that control that bypass is to far gone then this will not help and the alarm will need repair , replaced or removed
