Question about LG Washing Machines

1 Answer

A new automatic lg washing machine does not wash when the wash button is pressed, and the water i poured manually because it is not connected to the tape flows out immediately from the outlet.

When i press wash after loading the cloth and pouring water, the machine sounds working but nothing is actually moving to show that the cloth is washing and all the water i poured for washing flows out immediately. How can i resolve this problem?

SOURCE: Water pours out the bottom of machine during cycle

Don't get rid of that machine. Those can last 30 years easily, and the stuff you get today cannot compare. You got a bad seal going from the basket to the outside tub. If left go, the motor eventually will short out. You will need to remove the adgitator first, by pulling up hard on it. Then grease the spline before you put it back. A 13mm metric socket (12 point) to take out the bolts holding down the basket. That rubber boot you will see in there is about 12" inches across at the bottom, and about 8" at the top, and looks like that funny hat Goober used to wear on Andy Griffith. The bottom band goes to the tub bottom, and the top goes up against the transmission. The clamps are reuseable, and the boot should be less than $30.00.

This might be Lid cover open protection. There is a small magnet at the edge of the lid cover, housed in some sort of a catch.
If the plastic housing cracked, the magnet might have dropped into the washing drum. To overcome this, place a magnet on the position where the plastic catch will contact the washer when the lid is close.

How to turn off child lock on WTG7532W lg washing machine

Try pressing and holding the Rinse button (between the Wash and Spin buttons) for 3+ seconds. This should toggle the Child Lock off and the Start button should work to resume the cycle. (If you have touched the Power button, you may need to turn on the washer first. The Child Lock feature remains in the last used state.) See page 27 of the Owner's Manual for information on the feature. The manual is available from the manufacturer's support page: http://www.lg.com/au/support/support-product/lg-WTG7532W#manuals . The current link to the manual is http://www.lg.com/au/lgecs.downloadFile.ldwf?DOC_ID=20150102039896&what=MANUAL&fromSystem=LG.COM&fileId=SVYMjStXlkiH8PNt0qdVA&ORIGINAL_NAME_b1_a1=MFL67568754-Eng.pdf .

If you can't get the Rinse button to respond, you may have a problem with the touch pad circuit board, the wiring between the touch pad and the control board or the main control board.

I hope this helps.

I have a LG fuzzy logic the problem is that its not stopping the water input its over flowing ....

When you press the "SPIN SPEED" button and "SOIL LEVEL" button the water level frequency should be above 246. If the water frequency level fails to reach 246 in 8 minutes you will get an IE error or inlet error. You would need to check the water valve, water pressure, etc.
How does the machine know if the water level is complete? Water level switch right? So obviously the control is timing the amount of time it takes till the water level switch kicks off. If it takes more than 8 minutes we have a problem don't we? Therefore if something is partially blocking the tubing from tub to switch that might throw off the water level switch. It is located on the main control assembly and has the rubber tube connected to it. The control board uses this to determine water frequency level. Just blowing the sediment out of that tubing will cure the IE error IF everything else mentioned is all good. I meself would do that first before replacing any parts.

LG Tromm washer, what does error code ''CL'' mean?

Hello there and welcome to fixya
THE cl is not a error code at all
it SIMPLY MEANS THAT THE CHILD LOCK FEATURE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED
not to dismiss the feature simply press and hold the wash and rinse buttons for a minimum of 5 seconds and release Your machine may be different so you may have to press a different series of buttons like if theree are 2 buttons with the unlock or lock picture on them or shows a child or something like this but it should be 2 buttons that are neded to unlock ok
Hope this is very helpful
Best regards Mike

Where does the fabric softener and washing powder go in the LG WF-F5207PC 5.5KG top loading washing machine?

Put powdered detergent in the box at the back of the opening of the washer (opposite the control panel when the lid is open). If you use a liquid detergent, dilute it 1:1 with water and pour into the bleach dispenser at the front left of the washer. The fabric softener dispenser is near the bleach dispenser but a little closer to the tub and towards the middle of the left side of the unit. As with a liquid detergent, dilute 1:1 (30ml:30ml) with water before pouring into the dispenser.

If the fabric softener dispenser isn't working, add the fabric softener in the final rinse.

The manual for the washing machine is available here: http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/LG/WF-F5207PC-_E . You will need to review the unit or enter a security code.

I hope this helps.

I have letters le flashing on my lg front loading washer it won't spin

The code means the machine is not getting enough rinse water. Remove the hoses from the back i=of the machine, pull out screens, cold water is blue tab inside connection on washer, hot water is red. Clean screens and insert them back into the appropriate connection. Use a stiff brush and water to clean. Reset the machine by disconnecting power, press start/pause button(blue button on right) for at least five seconds, reconnect power.

Lg LD2060SH has no error codes but cannot set program or start wash. when power is switched on Green lights come on then green light only on normal wash. Cannot be moved with control knob and does not...

First check water inflow to the machine. If there is no water machine may not start.

To ascertain further, pour water into the wash chamber manually to the require level and run the machine. If it works check the water inlet.

LG washer uses so little water, clothes aren't even damp and not clean

You will need to have a qualified LG technician come out and see what the problem is.  You may have a water level switch issue.
