I have done all this, there is no send function in the middle or anywhere else - could it be a problem with my email account set up? although regular email works fine. I also cannot send a word document straight from word - again no send function. I wish I had never up graded!!!!

This should fix the send to email client for your documents

    Click Start, select Default Programs
Click Set program access and computer defaults
Click Custom, and select your mail client to Windows Mail
    Click OK

This should fix the missing send receive button.

Open windows mail (on the bar where help is located,

(just right click beside help (not on help)

    and select Toolbar

This will give you the bar that contains( create, reply, forward, send/receive,ETC...........

If that don't do it we will need to fix the registry

How to send a 'Favorite' site

You didn't say HOW you want to send it.

But, in email, you can copy the URL (in the address bar at the top) and paste it into the email.

For me, if you put it on a separate line, this usually creates a clickable link.
If not, the recipient can copy the link and paste it in the address bar to have it go to that web site.

Every time i access my yahoo mail the firefox.exe will pop up and there are 3 boxes that you need to click.....debug...sending error report....and ..don't send.what can i do.please help me.

In Firefox 3, by default, when user click on an email address or a URL link location that starts with mailto: protocol, the default email client, such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail will be opened to allow user to compose and send email to the specific recipient?s mail address. If you prefer to use web based Yahoo! Mail as your default email client, and want to let Yahoo! Mail handles all mailto: protocol, so that the automatic e-mail message composing and email sending will be done via Yahoo! webmail interface, Firefox 3 provides a very easy way to associate the mailto: link with Yahoo! mail web-based interface, in fact, it?s a built-in integration. Go to Tools -> Options. Click on Applications tab icon. Locate and click to highlight mailto Content Type, and at the corresponding drop down box of Action, select Use Yahoo! Mail. Click OK. After change, whenever a mailto: link is clicked, the email address will be sent to Yahoo! Mail account Compose web interface, with recipient automatically set at the clicked e-mail address. Of course, user has to enter user name and password credentials first if he or she hasn?t already logged in. Note: It?s also possible to set Gmail as the default mailto: handler at Firefox 3 best of luck Mel

I can't seem to send web pages and links.

You cannot send links directly using Yahoo (unless you use Outlook or Mail to send email), there are two ways to do it:

1. select the link in your browser, copy and paste it directly into your message
  • Copy and paste method 1 - click on link, rightclick, select copy, go to message, right-click select paste
  • Copy and paste method 2 - click on link, CTRL-C, go to message, CTRL-V
The above can look ugly

prettier:

write your message and select part of the text
Click the little Icon that looks like earth with a tiny chain under it
copy and paste the link you want in the box that came up

for example:
you have written click here to see it
highlight the word here
click the icon
The word here will now be a link to the address you pasted (or wrote) in the box

Hope this helps

How can I send a link from a web page via email - there is no send option!!!

Hi!

I think the easiest way is to copy and paste the URL in your email.
Copy-and-paste refers to the popular, simple method of reproducing text or other data from a source to a destination.

Common keyboard shortcuts:
Copy: control-C
Paste: control-V

Can not attach files and send using web email and vista

If your using Norton or McAfee they will cause problems like the one your having now. If not, go into Network and sharing Center and adjust settings for sharing as well as the firewalls.
