When I fill my ice rink, should I use hot or cold water?

Cold water is best for building up depth. Hot water makes for a stronger, smoother surface after a base depth is established. At least one hot water flood is recommended before skating for the first time.

Buying roller skate parts can be expensive. How can I prolong the life of my skate wheels?

The inside of the wheels is usually the first to go - you should rotate your wheels so that the worn out edge is on the outside, this will wear the wheels out evenly and they will last longer.

I have a Backyard Ice Rink. my question is will the blades on my ice skates cut the rubber lining on my rink?

No because they feature a Liner protection system that uses flexible ribbed PVC caps that snap over the frame, protecting the Liner from shovel & skate cuts. If you do get any small cuts in the liner you can use duct tape to cover them.

How to change a wheel on a roller-skate?

To change a wheel on your roller skate please do the following:

Unscrew and remove the axle bolts from the front wheel with an Allen wrench. Pull the front wheel out of the wheel frame. Remove the bearings and spacer from the wheel. All components should slip out together. Place the spacer and bearings into the new wheel. Place the new wheel on the wheel frame. Replace the axle and tighten it using the Allen wrench. If your spacer is aluminum, tighten the axle as far as it will go. If your spacer is plastic, tighten the axle almost as far as it will go, then loosen it slightly. Spin the wheel to see how easily it rolls. If it doesn't spin freely, loosen the axle. If the wheel wobbles, tighten the axle. Repeat the previous steps for the remaining wheels.

I have the cobalt 8.8 and I have had the skates for 4 months and the bottom of the skates cracked on both skates in the same place and tour has not replay to any of my attempts to contact them what should...

I would suggest that you contact the store at which you bought the skates and either get them to exchange them for you or ask them to contact the company for you.

Converting Little Tikes Roller Blades

My nephew has these skates and I just converted them from the training position to the inline position. The skates come with a bag of extra parts that you need to make the conversion. Basically you need the same bolt that is used for the first wheel and the middle wheel since the back two wheels are mounted on a long bolt that doesn't work for just one wheel. If you didn't get these spare parts then you're probably out of luck. If you're converting to the inline position you might be able to just use the front and rear positions but the plastic frame may not be strong enough. Good luck!
