Any time after the onset of cold weather. It is always best to fill the Liner as soon as it is in place, to prevent accidental damage from wind, animals, debris under the Liner, or walking on the Liner with certain types of shoes.

When I fill my ice rink, should I use hot or cold water?

Cold water is best for building up depth. Hot water makes for a stronger, smoother surface after a base depth is established. At least one hot water flood is recommended before skating for the first time.

I have a Backyard Ice Rink. my question is will the blades on my ice skates cut the rubber lining on my rink?

No because they feature a Liner protection system that uses flexible ribbed PVC caps that snap over the frame, protecting the Liner from shovel & skate cuts. If you do get any small cuts in the liner you can use duct tape to cover them.

My matag model # mzd2766ge side by side has been leaking water on the floor. This happens only sometimes but by the time we notice its a big puddle on the floor under my cabinets. is something blocked up...

if it has ice/water in the unit, check the hoses going from the supply line at the inlet valve on the refrigerator rear section,if theres a hole in the tube, when the ice maker calls for water to fill the ice trays it will leak out this pin hole during the time the water supply valve is open and then shut off when the valve closes due to no pressure on the line then, thats probably the reason the puddles not always there

Freezer is icing up. Unit is about 2 yrs old

You need to check out the back of the freezer. At the current status, it may be locked with ice. Have it defrosted or just have it melted away. Clean the coils and the entire unit. Either the drains were blocked by food debris or dirt causing water to accumulate and ice to form or the thermistor has been iced or is faulty or too much ice accumulated in the unit's coils.
