Thick tights are usually for practicing - they ate thinker and more durable and they are warmer than thin tights. Thin tights are more for competitions as they look like natural skin and are more attractive.

What is better figer skating or hokey. and why

That depends on an individual themselves. There is no answer to your question which can speak for everyone. So it's is up to you as an individual to come up with reasons why you would pick hockey over figure skating. Here are some arguments, figure skating is artistic(art), peaceful where as hockey is a rough sport requires strong and muscular body and is action. Here is an article take time to read it maybe you

How do I adjust bridge thickness on ice o matic

Adjust the Timed freeze. The freeze timer is an adjustable timer used to control the ice bridge thickness. The freeze timer is factory set but may need to be adjusted upon initial start up of the machine. When time is added to the freeze timer the length of the freeze cycle is increased, therefore the ice bridge thickness is increased. When time is removed from the timer, the freeze is shorted and the ice bridge thickness is decreased. The freeze timer can be adjusted by sliding one or more switches to either the ON or OFF position to 1/8'' ( 3mm ). If bridge is too thick remove enough time from the timer to achieve proper thickness. If bridge is to thine add enough time to timer to achieve proper thickness.
NOTE: The freeze timer on ECP models is located on the circuit board. It operates and is adjusted as described above. Now if you have had this machine for awhile and it was making the right bridge thickness and is now making thinner ice i would look at the purge valve to make sure it is not letting water seep out of the sump tray during freeze cycle this will cause the sump tray to keep filling up with water and will cause thin ice.

I have a Backyard Ice Rink. my question is will the blades on my ice skates cut the rubber lining on my rink?

No because they feature a Liner protection system that uses flexible ribbed PVC caps that snap over the frame, protecting the Liner from shovel & skate cuts. If you do get any small cuts in the liner you can use duct tape to cover them.

How can I maintain my figure skating blades and boots?

Keeping your figure skating boots and figure skating blades dry is the key to their longevity. Figure skating blades should never be stored in plastic blade guards!! Always wipe off any moisture from figure skating boots and blades. You can use teri-cloth blade covers, Zookers, or Blade Blankies to store figure skating blades. It's typically a good idea to occasionally take your figure skates out of your skating bag to let them "air out". Also, never leave figures skates in your car during warm weather seasons. Most figure skates are heat moldable and leaving them in the car can misshape and ruin your figure skates.

If my ice cubes are incomplete from my manitowoc ice machine and I sometimes here them falling early and hitting the bin before it dumps. Is the ice thickness set too thin or too thick? Thanks for your...

Hi,
The ice thickness is too thin...
turn the screw on the ice sensor IN or clockwise about 1/8 turn at a time till you get the right thickness...give it a couple of dumps before making another adjustment after doing the first one...be careful as the sensor is very sensitive and can be knocked out of wack very easily...
