Yes! Most dummies are made out of materials that are very durable and are not being punctured easily. If it is then most of them will still float.

Gas leaking from carb

Most likely cause is float level too low, and/or punctured float/worn needle/seat valve in carb.

YOUR CARB FLOAT NEEDLE VALVE IS LEAKING. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE CARBS AND CHECK. IT SOUNDS LIKE A NEEDLE VALVE IS DEFINETLY STUCK OR YOUR FLOAT IN THE CARB IS PUNCTURED

My car keeps flooding and will not start, what could be causing the flooding.

I assume that your Buick has a carburetter. Flooding is normally as a result of a stuck or leaking float needle and seat. Replace these, also check that the float is not punctured and has therefore lost some of its buoyancy.

2002 yamaha roadstar, fuel leaks out of the air filter , What can I do

Check that you don't have a stuck float ,which is preventing the float needle from shutting off the fuel. Its not uncommon for foats to puncture and sink .or grit or dirt to get stuck in the float needle shut off needle and fuel can still gtet passed causeing flooding .

I changed a couple dry roted fuel lines and now i'm getting fuel coming out of a hose that is connected behind the carb

is it a clear but maybe yellowed hose? cut at an angle where it ends? this is the overflow for the carburettors float chamber. the float is either not floating (popped) or not sealing the valve when it comes up to the top of the camber (worn/dirty needle) - it could also have been dislodged and is jammed open, you need top take the top off the carburettor and clean the float, check it is not full of petrol (the float) , clean the needle valve and refit (if the float is punctured you'll need a new float) give me the details of any numbers and words printed on the carburettor and i'll give you a link where you can buy a new float and a guide to servicing the carburettor.
I'd give you a diagram but carburettors vary so much its got about a 99% chance of being useless, get me the info and i'll get you a step-by-step guide for fixing the carburettor.

Replace Evaporator in mini fridge

The system will definitely have to be recharged; the escaped gas was under pressure and you cannot remove the evaporator without losing its charge.
Since labor costs are not cheap, you might consider looking at craigslist for your area and buy a used one. Even new, they are mostly around $100 US which might be $30 higher than your planned evaporator swap.
