This depends of the knife purpose and on your preference. What you should do is consider the following facts:

Fixed blade knives are stronger because the blade runs through the handle and therefore are good for heavy-duty work

Folding blades are easier to carry; they are not as strong as the fixed blades and they are harder to clean because of their pivot point.

How to choose the right knife for your camping trip

depending on what your plans are for the uses of your knife you will first want to pick either a folding knife which are smaller and can be put in your pocket easy to carry then you have nonfolding knifes that have sheifs which need to be on a belt or put in a backpack pocket there bigger then a folding knife and thicker blade then a folding knife a non folding knife are mostly more stable then folding knives you dont have to worry about the blade folding down on you fingers but most folding knifes have a blade lock just remember when choosing your knife make sure its comfortable to use and not to big bigger is not always better and dont forget a good sharping stone when camping your knife is your life

I have a twin blade Toro riding mower. It leaves an uncut stripe in the middle. How can I fix?

Sharpen the blades on both. Dull blades will fold the grass down.

I recently dropped my knife with the blade open it fell into some rocks and the blade tip broke on impact.

You can re-shape the tip with a few steps.
Do not use a grinding wheel, it will heat the blade too much, and you will lose the temper of the blade.
First, use a file to take off metal. Start by filing off the 45 degree at the cutting edge caused by the break. After you get the right shape, a whetstone will smooth the edge out, and let you sharpen it. I fixed a Buck 110 folding knife fir my brother a few years ago. It is obviously shorter now, but holds a good edge and works fine.

Blades fell off oster dog clippers but can't fit them back on. Please help !!

Assuming that you did not damage anything, the blades should go back on easily.
Slide the blade onto the hinged flat 'post'. Turn the clipper on. Fold closed the blade assembly into position against the clipper body.

If this does not ork, you must have damaged something.

How to install new blade in Buck bros keyhole saw. It comes with two blades, with the wood blade installed. How do yo remove thw wood blade and install the metal blade?

There is a slot at the back of the blade. Bent the blade out enough to clear the notch in the handle and fold the blade down.
