Follow the manufacturer's care instructions provided with your armour or refer to the instructions on the armour labels. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the ballistic performance capabilities of the armour. In general, when you are not wearing your body armour, it should be stored flat in a cool, dry place.

Has president obama issued any orders to prohibit .223 rifle ammo ?

Yes and no as it is the m855 .223 ammo that they are going to reclassify not the fmj and other hunting and target rounds
As m855 is used if the target is wearing body armour and the majority of body armour wearing targets are government employees he believes that Joe blogs has no need for them
Hope that helps

My procoat won't prime

The inlet valve is probably stuck. It is a flat poppet type, so you need to free it up. A Graco dealer should be able to supply a special small plastic bottle with a special top filled with their Pump Armour to do this job. Otherwise you can unscrew the inlet valve from the cup side to clean it out, but be careful not to lose the small spring. You should always flush Pump Armour through the ProCoat after use otherwise the passageways corrode

Body armour can be made from a number of different types of woven or non-woven materials. One of the first fibres used for modern ballistic-resistant material was Kevlar , which is made by DuPont. Other materials include Spectra , made by Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal); Twaron , made by Accordis (formerly Akzo Nobel). These materials are manufactured in a variety of styles and can be woven or non-woven (laminated). Hard (non-fabric) armour plates can be made from a number of materials, including metals, ceramics and other composite materials.

How does stab- and puncture-resistant body armour work?

Stab- and puncture-resistant armours are made from a variety of materials. The most commonly used materials are made from extremely strong fibres, which can be either woven or laminated together. Other materials used are metals and composites. As the threat impacts the armour, the materials either deflect the threat or, due to their very high level of cut and/or tear resistance, they "stretch" and the impact forces are dissipated over a larger area of the armour.

How does anti-ballistic body armor work?

When a bullet strikes a body armour panel, the fibres absorb and disperse the energy of the impact across a generalized area. Most concealable body armour is made of a number of layers. These layers assist in the energy dispersion process and help to reduce the effects of blunt trauma, caused by the force of the impacting projectile.

Unfortunately, the relatively flimsy construction of laptops mean that they will not work as tanks very well.

Even the Toshiba "toughbook" whilst built to milspec (military specifications) would not withstand either HEAT or Sabot munitions fired by today's modern armoured vehicles.

Best of luck,
