Check the voltages that comes to that board from the main board. Check all R-G-B input voltages. Replace the Red output transistor and its load resistor. Voltage to red cathode of picture tube is low now. Check its reason. Try this link and see whether it help you.
If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair! Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center!

SOURCE: sony tv picture keeps flashing

You likely have bad solder connections around the tuner area. This model has a history of problems in that area or the tuner itself.

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described can't be fixed with
troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service plan they will repair the TV at no charge as well.

If the TV is no longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and labor. This is assuming that you only need one
circuit board or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards, the price of repair could go much higher.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Tv screen does not show blue color what can i do

Check all the solder terminals at its video output card;[CRT base card]. Check the soldering of the CRT base socket. A dry solder joint or an open color output transistor can cause this fault; provided the picture is there. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
The fault is technically called 'one color predominant screen'. Use this keyword to search the site.

Is it dead?

Check its video output card for any loose solder terminals. This card can be located at the base of the picture tube, directly plugged on to it. Check all solder terminals here. It is a best practice to resolder all the suspected solder terminals, by applying a little more fresh solder. resolder all the CRT base socket solder terminals too. If the solder terminals that connect the filament of the picture tube got loose soldered, this kind of fault can occur intermittently.

I have a Sony FD Trinitron Wega (KV-32HS510). When I attempt to turn the tv on by pressing the power button on the remote or on the tv, the standby light comes on and I hear two clicks but tv don't...

The primary power supply is good, maybe the horizontal output transistor is deffective thats why there is no high voltage supply in the picture tube because theflyback have no supply voltage and oscilation. So check the harizontal output transistor and replace if deffective.

Sony trintron Tv KV-HA21P50, its alot of green color, whats is the problem.

Hello
Loose soder points in the video output board of your Sony Trinitoron is the problem. Solder loose on the green output transistor will show this kind of fault with this type of CRT based sets. Just open your TV, and locate the video output board. It can be located at the picture tube base itsef. This board is pluged diretly to the back of the picture tube. Just pull it out straight backward, without making any sideways shake. You may have ot apply some backward pressure to detach it out. Just look for any loose solderings at the solder terminal of this board.
It is very difficult to detect the loose soldering by ***** eye, as it will be microscopic in nature. It is a best practice, to resolder most of the solder terminals of that board, by app;ying a little more solder, whout making any solder bridge in between adjecent solder terminals. This will solve the colour problem to your TV.
I've attached a picture of a tV with back opened. You can see the Video Output Board pluged on to the back of the picture tube. Just resolder all the picture tube base socket terminals solderings also. OK

gopakumarg43_35.jpgHere the main board has been pulled out and placed vertifally at service position. The CRT board [video output board] can be located as you open the TV.

Sony Vega Service Codes

KV-32HS510 and KV-27HS420, seven times blink error code shows problem in Horizontal deflection circuit.

There are many possibilities like dry solder joints, weak capacitors, Horizontal transistor short or flyback transformer fried etc.

If you have little experience of TV repair and good solder skills and have necessary tools to test / check defective parts, then you can make it. you also need to have related service manual to see board location, schematics and part numbers.

No picture-- Diagnostics Light blinks twice. Set is about 6 years old. Set and picture look(ed) brand new. This occurred suddenly and for no apparent reason. Please give me some GOOD news! RTNTX

The 2 blinks indicate an over-current condition. Basically that means that there is a shorted component inside the set. My first inclination is to check the horizontal output transistor as that is the most common failure part. Figure on the part costing between $10-$20. Add in the local labor rate for the total repair cost. If you can solder and are confortable workin g with eleectronics, you can repair this yourself. The Horizontal Output Transistor (HOT) is located close to the flyback transformer (part with large red wire coming out the top) and is attached to a heat sink. It has 3 legs. It may be marked C5638 or something similar. Post hte marking here and I'll give you the part number.

Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-24FS120 24" TV Color changes

Try turning down (off) the color during such an episode. If the image is tinted pink or green instead of black and white when you do this, you have either an intermittent short in your CRT (tube), which is terminal,or a gun drive problem, which may be repairable. If you're feeding it component instead of composite signal,it may just be a bad connection of the B-Y cable.
