Well, slip 'n slides are safe for children but not for adults. Adult risk stopping mid slide and injuring themselves. Even a 13 year old was injured as a result of sliding down that thing.

Lawn pump should be done by a licensed electrician. Outside wiring is much more dangerous than gets wet and people can touch parts of the system. It must be ground-fault-current-interrupted, just for starters.

Water Slides Safety Tips

If you are looking to freshen up you summer and your lawn a bit, water slides are probably a great idea for both kids and adults.

Inflatable water slides are easy to rent or purchase and to set up, and provide a very fun and refreshing activity. However nobody wants the fun to be spoiled by injuries or accidents. Therefore here are some basic safety tips that will help you keep your lawn water sliding as safe as possible.

1. First of all make sure that all the partecipants are aware of rules and guidlines for using the water slide. Such basic rules as no flipping and jumping, and no running in the water. This will keep both the people safe and the slide intact.

2. Make sure that only one person at a time uses the slide, unless the slide is a dual slide that allows two people to slide together.

3. Make sure that everyone has removed all objects like shoes, glasses and jewlery. This will keep safe both the person sliding and the ones that will slide after him or that are watching, preventing a shoe from flying or glasses from breaking.

4. Do not slide in rain, thunder and lightning storms! The fun is not worth the risk of getting electrocuted. Deflate the slide, put it up for a bit and wait for the storm to pass.

Hi i have left my electric lawn mower out all year in all weather (i know) is it dangerous to plug it in and see if it still works

Make sure the unit is dry. If you have a blower I would blow it dry to make sure there is no water on any of the electronics. After that it shouldn't hurt to plug it in.
