Packing cubes or folders can be a great way of separating your items in a suitcase when you travel or in your drawers at home etc. If you are a very disorganized person, they can help you keep things together ie all your jumpers or underwear, but it's not cheap if you buy a lot of them.
Some people use ziploc bags or old tupperware containers to achieve the same effect. So it really depends on your budget.
Good luck.

Are there big advantages to using packing cubes for travel?

I have found them to be a great investment. I used to use zip-lock bags to pack my clothes, but packing cubes are much more durable and compartmentalize my bags better because they have more shape than the zip-lock bags. Also you can get them in all different sizes so even shoes can fit into a cube so you don't have any loose luggage saves you the fear of all your clothes falling out all over baggage claim conveyor belt.

Do you have to fold your clothes a special way for them to fit into packing cubes?

Eagle creek is a maker of packing cubes and in the videos on their site they show you how to pack properly in their most popular products. Some like the packing folders have a card that shows you how to fold your shirts so they fit, while some of the smaller packs just need you to roll your clothes tightly.

I have a Sylvania 4.0 Refrigerator Model SE80102-03 and the ice box portion was punctured causing the loss of refrigerant. Any idea where parts can be obtained for this unit. Also wondering if the ice box...

don't be silly. You will spend more money trying to rig this thing up to keep it running then you would to replace it. I work on A/c's and refrigeration; home appliances I have refused to keep working on because the money the customer would have to spend on my time and chasing parts down etc is just not worth it. Buy something new with a 1 year warranty and you are always better off.

What are packing cubes?

Packing cubes are lightweight fabric made cubes (not always in a square shape) that let you separate your clothes and items into different sections. They are great for traveling to put inside a suitcase and make your unpacking much easier.

Is it worth buying desk organizers and sorting my work space out?

i think it's really beneficial to invest some time and maybe some money into sorting out your work space.
Having your things in order, so that you can easily find the office supplies and papers that you need helps you to be more efficient and to work with more clarity.
have a big sort out and throw away any papers and things you don't need anymore.
if you don't want to spend money on buying organizational containers etc, you can always make your own from various size boxes and tins that you can cover.
