Question about G7 Productivity Systems VersaJette M300 Printer

VersaJette I have a VersaJette M300c printer, and I cannot get it to print...not even a test page. I have downloaded all the software and there was not problems with that. The functions leading up to the actual printing is working including sending documents to que, but it just will not print. Do I need a new UBS cable or something, because for the life of me I just cannot figure out what the problem is. Please help. I have Windows Vista operating system.

    After down loading the software, I tried to print a test page and was told that the computer could not communicate with the printer. I have looked for a " Patch" to provide a driver that is compatible with Windows Vista., but I haven't found it.

There is an upgrade for the versajette m300 printer, go to g7 productivity systems website, and click on down loads, and you will see a patch for vista, you can patch it if you have the original software and even if you do not have your original CD, there is still a solution. Down load the instructions and read them and follow them carefully and it should fix it right up for you.

Your problem is Windows Vista in all likely hood. There being no driver upgrade available. Go to the Printer website[I have to say the printer make is not one I know]

Printing blank pages


Press Test Page button on ur printer to check if there is issue with the software or printer.

If print test page is returning a printed page it means there is some problem in software communication with the driver.

It's possible that the driver will only work in a 32-bit OS. Try searching for and downloading a 64-bit version of the driver.

Not,. Also you need the original versaink.I think because it is specilly designed for checks.

Is there a compatible ink cartridge for Versajette M400 printer?






Sam's Club sells print cartridges for the Versajette at a more reasonable price. I saw the ad sometime ago, so give it a try.

  3. CLICK PROPERTIES AND THEN CLICK HARDWARE N GO TO DEVICE MANAGER
  4. UNINSTALL ALL USB PORTS AND THEN SCAN FOR HARD WARE CHANGES
  5. UR PC WILL DETECT UR PRINTER N ASK FOR PRINTER DRIVERS
  6. RELOAD DRIVERS N UR PC WILL COMMNICATE WITH UR PRINTER.

Versajette m300


I just found out that the Lexmark Z1300 uses the same ink cartridge as the Versajette M300. It might be worth while seeing if switching to that ink cartridge makes a difference in how the silly thing prints! Lexmark did make the printer, by the way.... I discovered that on several different sites including Lexmarks.

Can't get Versajette to print with Vista


In printers you should have two versacheck printers listed. They should be the actual Versajette and then a virual that says Versacheck Printer. If you have both of them, make sure that the Versajette 300 is set as the default printer. If you do not have the virtual printer, Try a reinstall and if that does not work call G7 and a tech can help you get it installed.

VersaJette m300c printer smudges


I am having the same challenge with the smudging. I get the wet the print cartridges but that doesn't work. I have to run some documents through which wastes the ink. I am totally disappointed with this printer. I tried Canon when they had that one as a special deal. I ran through 3 or 4 heads and Canon said not to use the MICR ink. Makes no sense to me. G7 won't respond to me anymore. I now have a Vista and it looks like that will be a challenge and I have an ink cartridge sitting in my closet for this dang thing. How disappointing is this.
