Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Having trouble with password i am a new aim user every time i put password in says invalid help

If your password doesn't work
There are several reasons why your password might not work:
  • The password you entered isn't capitalized correctly. AIM passwords are case-sensitive, so if your password is "Password," entering "password" (note the lowercase "p") won't work.
  • (For AOL subscribers only) You've recently changed your AOL password and are trying to use your new password with the AIM service. Even if your AOL screen name is also your AIM screen name, changing the password for one doesn't affect the other.
You can have your password sent to your e-mail address by submitting your screen name at the following Web page: http://www.aol.com/aim/password.adp.

I would check the memory if one of your memory sticks is bad it can have a random reboot behavior such as you are describing.

Aol Opimized system

There should not be any problem loading XP on another Hard drive. Just please do not put AOL on it the next time. AOL causes more problems than a virus or spyware. You can then put the old hard drive in as a slave and try to get the data off of it. You could possibly run the XP install and do the second repair and it will take out everything that windows needs and then put it back in. This usually does not bother your saved files but it can. You can run a hard drive test on the drive with another machine if you have one. You can download the hard drive test from the hard drive maker. You can also pull the files off of the drive with another machine.
Rate me if this helps.

Determine whether it is possible to substitute an AC power adapter ["wally"] for the short-lived batteries. I believe the correct voltage is 4.5, replacing three 1.5 volt batteries.

CAN'T GET AOL DIAL UP CONNECTION TO WORK

This error message normally happens because of a corrupted driver. Reinstall the driver for your modem. If you do not have cd's that came with your computer go too acer's website to download here
http://www.acerpanam.com/flex/acerdrivers/bin/drivers.html?CFID=4309542&CFTOKEN=82834010

Now if that is not the cas maybe you are incorrectly installing aol. Start up your aol. If it specifies broadband at login box change to dialup or go to setup and let aol automactically detect your modem. If problem still persists. Reinstall software when prompted make sure you select dialup. Now if you are using broadband and asking for dialup. Or go to the control panel and remove your modem driver, shut down and restart. It should put the modem back.  Any more questions post comment.

Hope this helps you
