Question about Breville ESP8XL Espresso Machine
We have lost the rubber fitting on the steam arm. Do we need it? & if so where can we get one?
Terry , Brisbane.
The rubber fitting does 2 things. It splits the steam and it keeps the end from bumping too hard. You don't need it but make sure you clean the steam tube well.

You can buy it from Breville. I would recommend stocking up on a few since they are quite cheap anyway.

You really don't need it. You should have a cloth nearby to clean the wand when you're done. So if for some reason you need to move the wand (and with it's meagre rang of mobility I don't know why you would) be sure to grab it with the cloth because it gets really hot. The rubber thing is just there to avoid lawsuits I'm sure. USA USA!
