Improve your PC's cooling system and your wireless adapter will work fine. you can attach a USB cooling fan to do the trick.

Linksys ra download Windows 7 USB adaptor drivers do not work

You can check the compatible devices that work with Windows 7. Here is the link.

If the model of your adapter is WUSB600N v2, then it will work with Windows 7 using the Windows Vista driver.

First unplug your router, then unplug your modem and for 10 seconds. Next plug the modem back in and wait it to reboot(on mine this a series of 4 lights that light up in sequence, when the 4th light stops flashing, reboot is complete). Finally plug your router back in.

Linksys Rangeplus wireless adapter not connecting

hmmm....
you are getting an incorrect ip address so what we need to do is to reconfigure the wireless profile,
open up the linksys utility and go to the tab that says profile, you will see the profile that you have configured earlier,
click on the profile and click on remove once the profile is removed ****,go to the tab that says site survery...
click on your network and then click on connect it will take you through a setup screen, then choose the security whether it is wep/wpa and down below choose the bit type if the security key has 10 characters then it is 64bit and if it is more than 10 characters then 128bit....donot put the passphare to generate a key, directly punch in the number..
****1 more step you can perform before creating a new profile is go to start, run in the box type in cmd and then open the black box then type in netsh winsock reset catalog and then hit enter it will tell you to restart the computer, restart the computer and then try creating a new profile...make sure the internal wireless card is disabled when you create a profile..
hope this works for you...

First of all, I am shocked that Walmart didn't handle that for you. They are usually really good about that.

Second, I ran into the problem of not having my disc on hand so after some searching I found this page and it worked fine.
