Question about Health & Beauty

Open Question

Help! I'm a professional stylist. Today I applied the same formula on my client that I have used the past 5 times. Paul Mitchell HLN double 40 VOL and 10NB 20 VOL, PROCESSED 45 min. It came out this horrible strawberry blonde. I tried to tone it away using flash finish icy-blue violet, didn't work at all. So i tried UTP 5 VOL. Also didn't change it. So my next thought was to try a bleach shampoo. Instead of taking out the color it moved it around the hair leaving it strawberry all over. Now what the hell to I try? Should I try pm shines semi in a 9 sandy blonde and then add bleach highlights? This red was not present in the past until today. I'm so frustrated.

SOURCE: I have natural lt brown

Gray hair is resistant to accept color.....You might try to find one of 2 products: " Zotos Porosity Equalizer" from Sally's or any beauty supply store. Also, Clairol has a new formulation called "Gray Solution", where there is a cream added to gray hair prior to adding color. This is for next time you plan to color.
In the meantime, you may want to purchase Roux Fanci-Full Color Styling Mousse in either #19 or #18 to tone down the red tones from your local beauty supply or online.Good Luck

I'm using Goldwell 12BG which says 2+1 on the box. Is the formula 2 oz. of developer/peroxide to1 oz. of toner or is it 2 oz. of toner to 1 oz. of developer/peroxide and should I use 20% or 30%...

Ratio is always developer to color, so a 2:1 is 2 parts developer to 1 part color. Example mixture is 40 ml developer to 20 ml color.

30 vol gives you better control and less damage to your hair. If you have VERY dark hair (level 5/4 or below), you need to pre-lift and then apply the color. It sounds like you're not a trained stylist, so I don't recommend 40 vol as it lifts too fast for most people to get an even application, especially if you're applying it to your own head (since it takes longer to do generally speaking).

You can work in sections to preserve color and get a more even application. Simply mix enough color for one section at at time, apply and process, then rinse ONLY that section with water to stop the chemical process. Repeat on all other sections. Good luck!

How much celcius is 32 fahrenheit?

32 Deg F. = 0 deg. C.
The following formulas apply in general:
Tc = (5/9) x (Tf-32); Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degreesFahrenheit.

Example: 40 deg. F minus 32 = 8, 8 x 5 = 40, 40 divided by 9 = 4.44 deg. Centigrade.

To go the other way:

Tf = [(9/5) x Tc]+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

Example: -10 deg. C x 9/5 = -18; -18 + 32 = 14 deg. F

Why don't formulas copy from cell to cell?

Step 1
Determine what formula is to be copied and to what location it is to be copied. Carefully consider the cells that are to be referenced in the formula and that they are indeed the cells that contain the information to be acted upon by this formula.
Step 2
Highlight a cell that has the formula in it and click the right mouse button. Select the "Copy" option.
Step 3
Move to the new destination cell for this formula, right click the mouse button and select "Paste."
Step 4
Check the first cell to make sure the correct calculation has been performed. If not, check the formula that appears in the cell that contains the result of the formula that was just copied. Make sure that the formula references the correct cells. If not, correct the formula and then copy the corrected formula to the rest of the cells that should have this formula applied to them.

The only time I have seen this not work is when the cells/pages are protected.

Note:
Some formulas will require references to multiple pages or a workbook. Make sure that the absolute cell address is used for specific numbers and those that are to be applied to subsequent cell addresses are clearly denoted by the use of "$" in the cell address.

FORMULA NEEDED FAST

Yes you can create the formula outside the cell or you can create it one time and copy it down to the other cells. That way it will populate once it is used.

The formula should be Base Rate * .05 to get the result then add the result back to the base rate.

Excel formula

Hello,
The formula should go like this:
=IF(C11>40,(C11-40)*D11,0)
This one will give you the result of (ONLY overtime hours)*(hourly wage), and if there are no overtime hours the result is 0.
Now, if you need to multiply that result with say 1,5 or whatever - insert the number you need like this:
=IF(C11>40,(C11-40)*D11*1.5,0)

If you need more help, please ask.

If I understand correctly, you want to figure the normal wages at 40 hours and less. If there is more then 40 hours, calculate the normal 40 hours, then calculate the hours overtime (time and a half) and add them to get a total.

2bef84b.png

B5 columns are filled with this:
=IF(A5>$B$1,($B$2*$B$1)+((A5-$B$1)*($B$3)),A5*$B$2)

NOTE: The $ sign doesn't refer to money, it refers to an absolute reference so when copying a formula, the cell references with a $ sign are fixed and don't adjust according to the relative position to where it's being pasted.

Please rate as FixYa! or ask please clarify. ThankYa!
