Question about Toshiba Satellite A10-S100 Notebook
Location of cmos battery?
Also trying to get to system bios screen, have tried F2 but doesn't get me there.
Is there a users manual/guide that can be downloaded free?
Any other ideas
Toshiba Satellite A10
On Toshiba laptops you hit the ESC key as soon as you turn it on & then you
are given the option to hit the F1 key to enter bios.
As to the cmos battery, they couldn't have hidden it better if it was the Queen's diamond!
It is near the bottom of the laptop on the right side, almost directly beneath the pause/break key.
Problem is, you have to disassemble the entire laptop to get at it!
Disassembly instructions for the Satellite A10 are here
Best of luck

Check out the above website it has the correct keys to get into BIOS for all the major brands including Toshiba Satellite is F1. You have to open your computer and get to your motherboard to change the CMOS battery. It looks like a small watch battery on your motherboard and is easily identifiable.
