Question about Yamaha HTR-5560 Receiver
I purchased this unit used, and it didn't have a remote control. The sound is GREAT! However, I am unable to get any video output. The manual says that you cannot mix s-video in with standard RCA output. All of my video in is RCA. I have verified that the video input on the TV is working correctly. Is there some sort of on/off for the video on the remote? Unfortunately the TV does not have a s-video input. But I do have enough s-video cables to test the s-video connections with another TV. Does anyone have any ideas.....
It appears that the composite video in/out is not working. I didn't have a TV with an S-video to test with. Since there were only two video devices for input, I routed their composite video output to an a/b switch. Works great, and sounds great.......
