Lawnflite 908lh has excessive vibration when mowing, engine runs fine-machine is brand new,and engagement is via tensioner on the cutting deck, not a pto.

Jerry, could be a bad belt, pulley, blade, etc. Take back to place of purchase for repair under warranty.

Excessive shaking break pedal

Check your brake return spring for being wear, and check all your pullies if you have one with a bearing out it will start wobbling causing vibration in the pedals.

My huskee riding lawnmower starts but wont run

The riding tractor uses a hydrostatic automatic drive transmission to operate and move, which must be operated correctly in order for the vehicle to move. The automatic drive disconnect is under the driver's seat and must be in the "Drive" position in order for the tractor to move. Once you have set the automatic drive disconnect to "Drive," slowly lift your left foot up off the brake pedal and adjust the throttle control to "Fast." Slowly use your right foot to step on the speed control pedal and move the pedal forward to increase speed

I have a Husqvarna YTH2348 that I bought from Lowe's last summer. As I was mowing today it suddenly started to vibrate excessively. I believe the problem is in the transaxle. When the brake is engaged...

There are usually one or two idler pulleys on the belt that runs from the engine to the transmission. Check those, more than likely one has gone bad. the should spin freely with the brake engaged, and the should not wobble.

Husqvarna Riding Lawn Mower 46 Cut model #454140010G MOWER will not ingadge

I can not say this enough, check the safety switches. There should be one on the seat, the clutch /brake pedal and /or the equipment pto switch. Also, check the wires running to these switches. They tend to move and vibrate as you mow and a worn spot in the wires can cause a short, resulting in the mower not starting.

Good Luck!!!

It can be problem with safety interlock circuit, check the brake / clutch pedal itself.Check the pedal linkage if its bent or bound up or loosing pressure. ------- Click this link for more help:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/06/testing-brakeclutch-pedal-switch-on.html --------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Mowing right along and suddenly the tractor won't go move

it's 1 of 5 likely things
The drive belt from the engine to the transaxle is totally slipping or broken
The linkage from the control pedal to the transaxle is faulty.
The transaxle is broken (not user fixable)
The by-pass rod is pulled out
The brake pedal is pushed or the linkage is stuck in the "brake" position.

My craftsman 17hp lawn tractor shutters bad when releasing the clutch pedal. is it the clutch and where is it located?

Its not really a clutch, clutch/brake pedal when pressed will release belt pressure which stops pulley from turn axle. When predded all the way down it mechanically applies brakes. The vibration is from a bad pully that the drive belt rides on or a bad belt. Look for chucks of belt missing. With engine off put on parking brake and manually wiggle each pulley that drive belt rides on to see if there is any play. No play should be present. Good luck.
