Sounds to me that you attached a bulet piercing valve to a cold water pipe. If you did I would say the tiny hole that the valve put into the pipe has blocked up and causing your low water pressure. I have sen this problem a million times with that type of valve. You could try to close the valve and then open it back up. Sometimes this will clear the hole. If not I would replace the valve with the type of valve you have for your sink. there better in every way. You may need to have a plumber do the job for you but you will never have this problem again. Good luck

Ice makers spray cold water upward into cube shaped trays that freeze the water almost instantly upon contact . Then when you press the ice dispenser a heater comes on that releases the ice cubes from the metal trays. If it is very old replacement probably a good option.
Tubing in back of refrigerator leading to the ice tray is jammed with solid ice and whence maker timer calls for water back pressure prevents water from reaching the ice maker tray. Remove the tubing from the back and pull out the plastic tube that feeds the ice maker tray. Put the tube in hot water to melt the the and blow through it to make sure itis clear. When reinserting the plastic tube stick your head inside the freezer door and be sure the end of the tube overlaps the tray. The problem will be solved but the same thing will happen at some later date. I believe I solved this problem too. I got a roll of surgical adhesive bandage that's about a sixteenth inch thick and insulated the tube to prevent it from freezing again. It's been two months since and thank God it worked. The Frigidaire engineers could use this one.
Just because you get water from the dispenser does not mean you should also get ice made in the ice maker. Fact is there are two side to the water control valve. One for the ice maker and the other for the water dispenser. Is there ice remaining inside the ice maker slots? If not then pour water into the tray until full and if after the water freezes it drops the ice into the ice bin this will indicate a defective=> WR57X10032 Water Inlet ValveIf nothing happens and the ice maker tray are full of ice this will indicate a defective=> WR30X10093 Ice Maker AssemblyThe ice maker is cannot be rebuilt on this model. low water pressure or faulty valve
low water pressure the valves do not seal proper and slow drips freeze up in tube
are you on well/?
last time fridge filter was changed?
if all good faulty water valve
The icemaker produces small cubes if the water fed into it is
not enough and lumped together if too much water is supplied. In order
to obtain the desired size of ice cubes, the amount of water supplied
to the ice maker needs to be adjusted. Adjust the valve supplying water
to the icemaker or the unit in general in such a way that right amount
of water fills the ice tray.
This could be several reasons, water valve on back not working, thermostat in ice tray not working, heating element below ice maker not working, we just need to start with the dual water valve on back first. The side that feeds the ice maker needs the solenoid checked. I am ready to help you solve this, Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
Hello , that is exactly what is happening this is caused by 1 of 2 things.
1- the module/control on the front of your ice maker is sticking during its cycle and over timing the fill stage.
2-your inlet valve located in lower rear at water line connection is not sealing causing water to seep through line to ice tray and overfill.
Both are common issues and the most cost efficient way to repair this is to order the ice maker kit that contains both the ice maker and the valve so you can guarantee the fix.
You can purchase on line with your model number for around $100 Calling a service company will cost at least $150 changing only one of these parts or about $200+ for both.
If you have any questions please ask and let me know how it goes.
What kind of ice maker do you have? Is it "Ice Maker Plus"? Pull the ice bucket out so you can get a better view.
On the back of the freezer is a spout ramp that should connect to the back of the ice tray water deflector that the wire connects to. (I know, It's cold in there). The water deflector is connected to the back of the ice tray which sends the water to the tray. It should snap in.
