SOURCE: Sentry HO900 headphones

The H0900 should come with a mini-plug adapter. The headphone jack in my TV was deeply inset, so I kinda reversed it. The adapter plugs into the transmitter, then the Red/White plugs, into that, then the long end of the cord into the TV.

Works fine for me. My problem will be posted seperately.

SOURCE: NEED INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOOKING UP

From the manual:

1. Plug the stereo audio cable into the headphone jack of your audio
source (e.g., stereo, TV, CD player, DVD, etc.). If your audio source
has two RCA output jacks instead of a headphone jack, use the
supplied Y cable to connect your headphones to the two (red and
white) RCA jacks.
2. Connect the other end of the stereo audio cable to the AUDIO IN
socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter.
3. Connect the AC/DC main power adapter to the DC IN power
supply socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter. Then,
connect the adapter to an electrical outlet.
Important: This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a
vertical or floor mount position.

How to find audio fix on my LG flat screen tv to finish connecting my wireless head phones

Well Hi Maria ! Let's get you fixed up.
I want to help you with your question, but I need more information. Maria, with my wireless headphones, I have 2 types:
a)Has 2 "RCA Type" connector plugs, you can identify them simply as one is red(My memory trick is R is 'RED & R for right side, and a white one, for the left side) do you see these plug type connectors that attach to the broadcasting unit that sends the signals to your wireless headphones, so they can go without wires?
b) Or...do you have a broadcasting unit that has 2 different types of plugs, 1 is still a red "RCA type", and the other is a different type, a "BLACK" Plug type ?(It is called a 3.5mm Plug)

If you have "type a)" 1 x Red RCA &
1 x White RCA, then all you need to do is to look at your HDTV manual, an find where the "AV OUT" plugs are, make sure it is the OUT, (Caution: It won't work if there is "NO" audio from some source hooked up to at least one the HDTV's in sources, it could be AV, or HDMI, whatever you chose to use.
Carefully move the HDTV, so you can safely get behind it and locate the AV OUT (Female type) plugs at the back, remember "R" is for RED PLUG & always "RIGHT" Side, and "WHITE" PLUG is for the "LEFT" Side. Hopefully the cords are long enough to get out from behind the HDTV, andto a place where their signal can reach the headphones. If not, I get very inexpensive RCA cables, & other things at "My local DOLLAR STORE, for about $3.00" And you should be set. Remember, Start your headphones with reset, and slowly search until your audio matched the video on the HDTV.

If you have the "type b)" you have 2 options. If you plug just the "RED RCA plug into the back of the HDTV, IMPORTANT** You will ONLY get (Remember "R" red for Right hand side) you only get Right Had Sound (REALLY, who wants that, with all the nice stuff you bought ??)
Soooo... That "BLACK 3.5mm Plug means you have "2" choices
a) Unlikely Choice- If there is a 3.5mm audio OUT Female Plug receiver that accepts the Black plug, then THAT's IT. The Black plug. is like most microphones, headphones, etc, IT HAS BOTH THE LEFT & THE RIGHT SIDE SOUND SIGNALS> Again, if it's not long enough, , go buy an inexpensive extension plug (Factory Direct Store sells a 25 foot extension cable ***FOR ONLY $6.99 ****-
- I love that place !! )
b) if like most HDTVs you have the same 2 RCA type AV out Female Plugs, you will need to buy what is called a
"3.5mm (Female)to RED & White RCA PLUG SPLITTER" -
and guess where you get them reaaly cheap ??
See above !!.
When you have your RCA to 3.5mm Splitter Cable (Hey it's late & I don't remember the right name, I think this is the one !!), plug The "R" for RED to the "Right" side AV RCA plug for AV OUT, & the "White" plug" to the "Left Side" AV out plug,& the 3.5mm Black Plug (female) will plug into the Cordless Headphones Broadcaster's (Male) 3.5mm Black Plug, move the Broadcaster out front so your Headphones can pick up the signal
LAST !!!
2 things
#1- Always try to be sure that you could draw an imaginary "LINE OF SIGHT" between the Broadcaster Unit, and where you will be wearing the headphones for the best quality of signal (You want to enjoy it now, right !)
#2- BE VERY VERY CAREFU, PATIENT, when you move the HDTV back or foorward. They are EXPENSIVE !! AND !!! IMPORTANT, !! They are a LOT HEAVIER THAN THEY LOOK< AND COULD REALLY HURT YOU,if they fall on you, or you will not feel so smart if after all this, your nice, expensive HDTV, is BROKEN, OK?
PLEASE BE CAREFUL FOLKS !!!

Should I hook it up to my cable box or tv?

Hook it to the TV. That way if you play a dvd you'll hear it. Cell phones will interfere, as well as cordless phones, so there's not much to do about that.

Sylvania wireless headphones

Instructions
1
Set up the transmitter. Wireless headphones rely on a transmitter that sends audio via infrared or radio waves to your headset. Use the digital audio output (coaxial or optical), RCA outputs (red and white) or headphone jack on your TV to connect the transmitter. The connection will depend upon which outputs are available on your TV and/or the transmitter.
2
Use an RCA-to-headphone adapter. If you don't have a headphone jack on your TV and the transmitter includes only a headphone connection, connect an RCA-to-female headphone connector. This will allow you to plug the wireless transmitter into the female headphone end and then hook the RCA ends into your television's audio outputs. You may also need a 3.5 mm (mini jack)-to-1/4-inch adapter if the headphone plug on the transmitter doesn't match the television jack.

3
Set the transmitter on top of, or next to, the television. For infrared transmitters, you'll need a direct path between the headphones and the transmitter. Placing the transmitter on or near the TV will allow you to take advantage of the clear path you already have.
4
Plug in the transmitter and turn it on. Charge the headphones if necessary.
5
Turn on the headphones. Adjust the volume and settings and you're ready to watch TV.

How can i make it work with my hdtv

Hi akasanova,
I see you want you wireless headphones to work on your HDTV.
It will not unless you connect you HDTV to a computer and run you cable from the computer then you can get your wireless headset to work on your HDTV but directly from your HDTV it will not, an HDTV does not have the capabilities to run a wireless Headphone without installing a program or without wireless capabilities and only a computer can have that capability as long as you computer has wireless capabilities on it then it should work.

I hope this helps.
Have a nice day,

Just bought the brookstone wireless tv headphones. I have a Westinghouse 40 inch lcd tv. I plugged in the rca red/white into the audio out and I don't get any sound into the headphones?

I had the same problem with Brookstone wireless headset the only solution I found was plug in the red and white connectors to your cable box it works perfectly that way. Just make sure the red cable connector from the transmitter is connected to right red input connector on the box. I have a Comcast cable box. Now I need a solution for them on my PS3?

Cable Type needed for Advent AW-820 wireless speakers

If I recal correctly these hookup like computer speakers with a 1/8" stereo line with a male plug on it. What you can do is buy the "y" adapter for using the RCA outputs on most devices and use these that way, or you can use them through a headphone jack etc. The adapter is a 1/'8' or 3.5mm Stereo female plug going to (2) RCA Male jacks. usually they come pre labeled red for right and white for left.
