Mitsubishi VS-45501a immediately shuts down

My problem is with a Mitsubishi vs-45501a. Upon power up, a relay apparently shuts it down after 2 seconds. Is this a typical problem? Could it be a straight forward repair?

- I have the same problem with the Mitsubishi VS-45501A. The TV starts to power up, I hear a relay trip, and it shuts off. The TV is 11 years old.
