Setting the clock as addressed in the user manual is incorrect. It states to use the "Function" button to access clock settings. Actually, you have to turn the unit off, and then hold the "On/Off" button until you see the clock begin to flash signaling that it's awaiting your input. You can use the arrow buttons now. Hope this helps. Don't forget to vote please.:)

Here's what I had to do.
- turn off radio
- press and hold SOURCE (SRC) button (top left of radio - the on/off button) for a few seconds then release when the hour starts blinking
- use the up/down buttons to change the hour
- use the left/right buttons to switch to change minutes
- use the up/down buttons to change the minutes
- press SRC button again to turn on radio - you're done!

Bradley, you suggestion makes a lot of sense. The clock has been a source of frustration for my husband and I as we have not been able to set the clock. Have not tried it as yet, but I am happy that this seems plausible. Thanks a million!!!

How to set the time on dmr eh59

Automatic clock setting is done if you initially accept to use the guide plus system (should do). Only if for some reason it does not work, you can set the clock manually following these steps Clock Usually, the unit's setup function automatically adjusts the
clock to correct time. Under some reception conditions, however,
the unit cannot set the clock automatically.
In this case, follow the operation steps below to manually set the clock.
1 Press [3, 4] to select "Off" of "Automatic" and press
[OK].
2 Press [2, 1] to select the item you want to change.
The items change as follows:
Hour,Minute,Second,Day,Month.Year

3 Press [3, 4] to change the setting.
You can also use the numbered buttons for setting.
4 Press [OK] when you have finished the settings.
The clock starts.
If a TV station transmits a time setting signal, and when
"Automatic" in the Clock setting menu is set to "On", the automatic
time correction function checks the time and if necessary it is
adjusted several times every day.

How do you manually reset a Lacrosse Atomic Clock. Ours is always 4 hours behind and has not caught up. We already changed the batteries.

There are many LaCrosse atomic clocks. Which model do you have? Support for most is available here: http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/home.php . Use the drop down menu to select the model.

For the analog clocks, there is a manual set button on the back of the clock. Press the button and wait for the clock to advance to the correct time. Then make sure the correct time zone button has been pushed. Then make sure the clock is in a location where it can hear the signal overnight. (For best results stand the clock upright in a window.)

For WT-2165U travel alarm, press and hold Set to enter the setting function. Then select the time zone (with + or -) then press and release Set. Set the DST setting to on or off as needed, then press and release Set again. The next setting option is the snooze alarm duration. Press and release Set again to change the hour manually (+ to increase). Press and release Set again to set the Minutes. Correct the date (year, month, day, day of week) similarly. Then set the display to 12 or 24 hour time. Press and release Set to finish and exit the set functions.

For some of the digital clocks you can set the time manually by pressing and holding Set. First set the time display mode (12/24), then press and release Set again. Then set the hours, followed by Set and then the minutes. Continue through other menu options or just do not press any buttons for several (30) seconds.

On the digital clocks, the item being changed will flash.

To avoid interference with the signal reception, place your radio controlled clock where it will be at least six feet away from a TV, computer, air conditioner or other household electrical appliances. The optimal location is near a window. Windows facing Colorado providing the best signal.

I hope this helps.
