When Denon AVR-5803 Is powered on, it's making a clicking sound

I have a Denon AVR-5803 receiver. I am not sure what happen to it. I turned it on, and all of a sudden it's making this rapidly clicking sound. when I engaged the power button, the indicator light shows that it is on, but the front display panel will not show any detail at all. I am not sure if one of the circuit board is bad. I unplugged the receiver from the wall outlet, try to reset, but my problem doesn't go away.

I have a Denon 5803 and there's no power to the ac outlets and I'm getting no sound. I hadn't use it in a long while because I was overseas but nothing has changed.

Not to sure about the AC outlet problem but I have a Denon receiver and I have had the No sound problem with mine as well I've found it was the headphone jack you can get a headphone cable and spray it lightly with WD-40 then pull it in and out of the headphone jack a few times and you might have to leave it plugged in for about an hour if you can't get it to work another tip that might help is getting an air duster can and blowing out the dust I've found one or another to be very helpful because mine does this when it sets for awhile with no use Hope this helps out

Denon AVR 1601 with no sound output

Sounds like Audio ouput ic's. They're located on the inside of the unit on the big heatsink. get the part number(s) of them and call you local electronics store for parts.

Denon avr-1804 its turns back after 5 sec

Disconnect all speaker wires on back and then turn on. If it happens again, it's most likely a power supply problem. If it doesn't happen again, it was probably crossed speaker wires.

I have a Denon AVR-488..Can you help?

Sounds like you may be clipping your speakers. Check all speaker connections and make sure they are not touching, at all. If you are not using speaker ends and are simply twisting the wire and connecting to the speakers, just one strand touching the other post will cause this. Good Luck

Hi, I have a Denon arv1500 with a bad tuner. If you can't get yours fixed, would you be interested in selling it--I'd use it for parts.
If you still have it, and would be willing to sell it, let me know! denny@dennyls.com
