Re: MP3 is stuck on radio mode

Ok, I think I might know how to solve this. You might need to fix your firmware. Try going onto this website: Once you get there, go through the list of dvd, cd, and TV model numbers until you find your's (Should be on the back of your player) then download the firmware. Then place it into the player and unplug the player from your computer and start it up. It will take a minute or two for your player to start up, due to it installing the firmware, but you shouldn't have a problem from there. I hope this works and have a nice day.

I have a Creative Muvo TX FM mp3 player that wont play mp3 files after I formatted it. Its radio and other components are working perfectly. How can I fix this?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

My Sansa Express appears to be stuck on pause. I just got it last week and have only used it once. It will play the radio, but I can't get it to unpause in the Music mode. It will fastforward and rewind...

It's possible that there is some physical damage to your player, but first try to do a reset: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) and Select buttons simultaneously for approximately 20 seconds.

Detach your player from the PC if it is connected, and turn off the player.

If the player stops responding, you can reset the player. To reset the player, gently

insert a thin object into the Reset hole located below the power switch.

2. Press and hold the Play button while powering on your player.

3. When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.

It will display the following options:

Clean Up

Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.

Does not affect music files themselves.
Format (All)

Caution! Erases all content!

Save a copy of your player's content before formatting.
Reload OS/ Firmware

Caution! Erases your player's firmware.

DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.
Reboot Reboots the device.

Music problem

Two or three possibilities:
1) The format of the music songs is wrong --> solution: convert the songs to the right format
2) The license on the songs has expired - especially if acquired from a music service --> solution: renew your subscription
3) The device has been switched from MSD mode to MTP mode or vice versa - solution: see manual for details on changing this setting
