Question about Whirlpool LEQ9858P Electric Dryer
When I shut the dryer door, set the dial, then push the button, the buzzer goes off [as if it's done drying]. I move the dial half-way down the cycle, same thing. We keep having to play with it until after 5-6 times it finally stops buzzin and starts drying. Help! Don't know if it's a switch or a sensor.
Does anyone have any recommendations.
I would suspect the timer is on it's way out the door. Do you have any areas the timer has dead spots? Check the exhaust for any plugging also.Is this only on a first time start up or is it after this dryer has been running? If after running it could be a high temp sensor, that by the time you are playing around with it, the temp has changed.
