Check your filters inside the furnace, replace if needed. Then check to ensure that the fan is running inside the furnace. If these two things dont fix the problems, I would imagine you have low refrigerant issues. In that case you should call a service company.

Hope this helps ya please rate me.

What is the filter size for RUUD UBHK-24J11HFF The one that is currently inside seems to be smaller than it should be... Thanks!

Use a tape measure. Uncertain on size though you have to be careful when buying filters, a standard 20x20 can come in three different sizes. always be sure read the ACTUAL FILTER SIZE.

How often should I replace my air conditioner filter?

It depends on the model and few other factors like amount of use, cleanliness and size of the room, if it's indoor or outdoor. The standard amount of time for a household airconditioner filter is usually about one year (Or one season if you use it year round.)

How to clean the filters in split airconditioners

Check on top of the indoor unit. On some models, the filter will slide out from there without having to open the cabinet. On others you will need to pull on the top front and the panel will swing down (it will be hinged) and the filter will be behind that panel.

Filters for a rudd model # rkkb-a120cm22e

get a tape measure and measure it. lets say the size is 20" x 24". the filter size will be 23 1/2" x 19 1/2" why they do this i dont know.

if it is a real old unit just go to publix or walmart (publix is only in florida) and get one of those crappy blue filters that you hose out. you can cut it with sicsors and it fits underneath that crappy metal u wire.

if you have the unit i think you should just run the old blue "hog's hair filter" it sucks but so does your old unit.....

We purchased a manufactured home a year ago. We did not receive a owners manuel for our Intertherm heat system. Could you help us? Also, we need to know if the filter can be replaced by any type of filter...

You would first need to know what kind of unit you want the owners manual for,if you dont know exactly you need to find out the model # that # would be able to be tracked by any a/c service mech. and they should be able to tell you the size and so on.the model/serial # should be on the inside units panel if not take the front panel off and look around for a metal tag near the wiring area.Once you know what kind of unit you have go to
you should be able to get a owners manual from these guys,or if you just get me the name i can get it for you, this site has alot of info on your tyeps of a/c and heating units.ONE THING DONT BE ALARMED YOUR UNIT IS ACTUALLY MANUFACTURED BY A COMPANY CALLED NORDYNE !! this is still a good unit just a little lower model type than a named brand like rheem/rudd trane,or carrier. It also has a pretty good warranty, so check out that site.
As far as your filter no you dont need a special one,it just depends on your preference.I usually suggest to the average person to use a reusable/washable filter.Go to home depo, menards or any hardware type store and ask for a hogs hair washable filter. they only come in one size about 30x20x2 and there blue, cost between $6.00 to $10.00 you use a sissor and cut it to your existing size filter and when it needs cleane approx. 1 mnth or every other you just hose it down.I HAVE HAD THE SAME FILTER IN MY UNIT FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND ITS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE.I HOPE THIS HELPS ANY QUESTION WRITE BACK

No furnace filter

Using a electronic air cleaner you don't need a filter they have little pre filters in front of them but those electronic air cleaner are so good at removing dust and hair. I am thinking of getting one. to take the air cleaners take them out every so often and wash them with just your garden hose let them dry and re-install. If you want to replace the air cleaner go get a filter called Air Bear they are made to be a direct replacement for Electronic Air Cleaner units. ken oh by the way air bear's are about 5 inches thick and come in vary sizes.
