where can i go for updated free magellan1200 maps to update my gps

you will have to go to magellan.com & order the 2008/2009 map update. it costs a hundred bucks unless you are a caa member, then they knock off 25% or so. You can't burn a copy because they need a special code to make sure you bought it legally. Pretty smart. I just got mine & am trying to get it loaded now.

did you change the map setting to Canada? from lower 48?
That was my problem. Maybe you need to order the update cd from magellan.
