Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
Hi, I've just got a new lg shine which as of now is working fine. I want to put some of my own songs onto the mp3 player in it. I can connect the phone via the USB cable but it just asks for software (even though I've installed it) and the phone doesn't come up as a mass storage device so I can't do it that way. When I open the software it's just about numbers, calendars etc and nothing to do with music so I've no idea how to get songs on. Any help please?
I suggest buying a sd memory card from walmart but dont get anything over 4 gb make sure you get the one with the bigger piece u put into your computer then just open the folder and copy your music to it... it works thats what i had to do and its working great for me.

I suggest you dont put in the music through ur computer but through bluetooth . if you have a mac that would be a good way as the macbook hav bluetooth . i have a KE970 but it wont start it restart automatically over and over again . i think the problem is because of a virus i got while downloading imgaes from the net . so make sure you check if you got viru's on the song .

If you would want to put music onto your LG SHINE then i suggest you don't use the software because it doesnt work...if you would like to put music then go to my computer and then click on USB and then add ur music in that file...dont worry about what file to put it in just click on the USB icon and then put ur music in and about the Mass Storage you are going to have to set that up from your phone and you can find out how to do that from reading your manual

You need to adjust the phones Connection Settings from USB Mass Storage to Data. To do this, from the home screen go into your main menu. Select "Settings". Then select "Connection", then select "USB Connection Mode" and change it to "Data Service". Make sure you have the LG PC Suite software installed first. Once installed and connected using the software you can transfer the songs to your phone.

Ok, i had the same problem... What i realized was that i was trying to drag itunes songs to the sounds folder but it was in the wrong format... it was named under m4a... make sure you rename it MP3... once i right clicked rename and changed it to mp3 the song appeared in my mp3 folder on the phone... try that..
