As it is not specified here that you are facing problem
with Windows login password or domain password so, I request you to share about
it too. According to me if you are trying to connect (or already connected)
your laptop to any network then you need domain username and password. You can
get it from the network administrator. On the other hand if you are facing
problem with windows login password then you can reset it by using Windows
password recovery software or by some other tricks (I can tell you if you are
Hi. If your pertaining to the password of your wireless router then you should know the I.P address of your router and also the username and password of it so that you could login from there and change the password of your wireless connection. If you dont know this information you can contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them of all this information to access your wireless router and also they could assist you on how to change the wireless password. Hope this helps
You will need to check the wireless settings of the
router is there any computer connected to the router ? If yes then you can open the router set up page on
that computer. Router set up page is the page where you can check
all the wireless settings of the router. Click here for step by step instructions
To login to router setup page you need to connect the router with a ethernet cable to one of your computer or laptop then open a page of internet explorer and type in browser address bar http://192.168.2.1 and it will ask for username and password the username is by default "admin" and password is blank do not type anything in password and press ok you will go to the page of the router
Then go to wireless settings and you can check what is the wireless security password, you can use the same to connect your wireless computer to your router to access internet wirelessly
If you are not able to login to router setup page then you might need to reset the router from the reset button
what you want exactly?password for what? username and password for internet in subscriber? or just WEP for wireless key password?
if you forgot the password for username and password for subscriber....theres an option,i dont know what kind of subscriber do you have in your country...if you forgot the username and passowrd you can ask in the subscriber.
regarding in the WEP password for wireless,it doesnt matter, try this..
type 192.168.1.1 in the internet toolbar
and you can see the configuration, check the wireless settings for WEP...
plug a laptop straight into the router with a cable. then open an internet browser and type in 192.168.0.1 type in the username and password. the default will be admin for username and password for password. then close the browser and unplug the cable. it might detect wireless internet after a few seconds. if it doesn't, it is possible that you have a PC set up as the internet gateway for the laptops or something, so when you introduce encryption the laptops can't get access. in which case you should go to your wireless icon on the laptop and click that and open the connection list. double click on the wap secured connection and try to connect. it should ask for a username and password, which you have secured the wireless encryption with. enter that and it should connect to the gateway. dunno if this helps, good luck chris firstname.lastname@example.org
Unfortunately, you cant 'recover' your network password. You will need to reset the router and apply a new password. In order to do this, you need your laptop or computer near the router and an ethernet cord connecting the two. Simply follow these directions.
1.) on the back of the unit is a small pin hole with the word RESET above it. hold this down for about 30 seconds. this is a hard reset.
2.) connect your pc to one of the routers ports and open your browser (no worries if you cant get to perezhilton.com yet, it will only take a moment)
3.) in your browsers address bar, type "http://192.168.1.1". This is the URL to access the router.
4.) you will see a popup box which asks you to enter a username and password to login to your router. The default username and password will be either: a.) username= [blank] ; password= admin b.) username= admin; password = admin
5.) Once you re past the login screen, you can reconfigure the router.
6.) Go to the management tab and chance the admin password to something else so other people cant access your router.
7.) Your router should work after you apply these settings and restart your computer but i HIGHLY suggest enabling either WEP or WAP security.
Yes time warner is a cable connection and they dont require a username and pasword. You can set up the router manually by accessing its set up page. By default the router's IP is 192.168.2.1. Make sure to set the wan connection type to dynamic, change the wan mac address or clone your pc's mac. Then save the settings. Check your internet connection.
