SOURCE: I just purchased a new HTC Inspire 4G cell phone

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Just a note:

HTC Sync cannot be used for file transfers of music and videos.

To do that, you need to remove your phone's memory card - insert it in a PC - download the Music/Videos to the PC - then transfer them to the memory card.

Hi

I don't understand why you need to have the device - connect to each other. After being paired you can send files over bluetooth. For what purpose you require the devices to connect to each other???

SOURCE: my evo 4g will charge

The problem sounds to be with the USB port is partially damaged and not making connection fully with the board. There are about 4-8 connections on the USB connection and I believe only 2 need to be connected to charge the phone, but all need to be connected to communicate with the computer. I suggest you first try a different USB cable and then look for a local repair center.

I use Photo Tech CPR in NYC for all my repair needs. www.cpr-nyc.com

Good Luck

Cz302 'pair full' problem. My Clarion CZ302 car

I had exactly the same problem. No clue at the beginning. Then I find out the quite trivial solution. The radio had been pairing with the maximum number of devices (three I think) and so it doesn't accept any other device. First you need to "un-pair" an old device and then pair the new one. In order to unpair devices you need to go in the settings, then in the "delete pairing" and remove the device you want to unpair. The manual of the radio explains how to go in the settings.
In conclusion, no particular trick is required: after unpairing the old device(s), the pairing with the new one is immediate.

I have my bluetooth on and have tried to receive files via bluetooth from other phones and from pc and i can pair with other device but not receive files. It says paired but not connected. Is there something...

Sometimes this happens because either you or the other person changes the pairing keys or remove your mobile from his paired list.
It can be solved by unpairing and then pairing again wwith the other device.
Go to settings in your wildfire, Wireless and network, bluetooth. Long press on the device name and select unpair. Also remove your wildfire from the other device's paired list. Then scan for bluetooth devices and pair again. This should solve this problem.
Also, when some device sends you a file via Bluetooth, there is a notification asking permission to receive file. Make sure you click on it and select accept.

How do i get my Blueant z9i into pairing mode?

You put a Blueant Z9 into pairing mode by holding down the main (Blueant) button for 6 seconds until the light starts flashing repeatedly. On early models it will flash alternately red and blue.
