SOURCE: Dell 924 Inkjet Printer False Paper Jam

Got rid of my problem!

In an act of despair I started to poke around the inside of the printer with a wooden match. Especially I found a small black lever mentioned on a Dell web site (general paper jam help page) that could be pressed a little. It is placed just a little bit right of center behind the carriage and just above the roll that feeds the paper beneath the printer heads. I'm not sure if this was what finally did it, but now the paper jam problem has gone away.

Another thing I noticed is that my carriage is now moving to center when I open the top. When the paper jam error was present it always moved to the far left (so I could remove any jammed paper, I suspect).

SOURCE: canon mp180 paper jammed

I finally fixed the problem by running two sheets of heavy card stock through at the same time. With the machine off, I positioned the two sheets in the feeder so that they would be pulled in when the printer was turned on. When I turned on the printer, it drew the two sheets through and I guess this reset the paper sensor. I previously found that only one sheet at a time did't work.
I found this solution posted by JsamJr answering another question but it worked for me. pushing the card in and then removing it and pressing ok worked

SOURCE: Lexmark X5470 printer says, "Clear paper jam, then press check mark."

  1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
  2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
  3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
  4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
  5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
  6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
  7. Turn the printer off.
  8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
  9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

System error E.007

Hi, are you sure that you have clc 1140 Copier? Because E007 isnt clc 1140 error code. These error code is related to machines with teflon folie, in newer date b&w copiers.

These error means that copier cant see fixing folies mark, and only that you can do is to replace fixing film ( folie ).

I have a paper jam on a CLC 1120 and there is no paper jam I've check the machine 10 times

You didn't state where the jam is indicated. If it's indicating a paper pickup jam there are levers toward the back of the cassette that could get hung up.If it's a fuser jam the outlet lever on the fuser unit.If it's indicated in the transfer drum area a bad transfer sheet can give a false jam indication sensing paper on the drum.

Certain papers, notably a transfer paper that I have used in other machines and have a lot of, will not stick to the drum properly which causes a 'jam' message: "Open front door, remove paper from drum"....

The paper on the CLC-1180 is held to the Transfer Drum by static attraction. Certain papers or media will not work with machine. One thing you can try is to check the flex the paper. Flex the paper and see which way it has the most flex. If the paper has more flex or bend in the Landscape direction load the paper in the Letter "R" direction, or Portrait direction (letter). If the paper is too stiff it will conform to curvature of the transfer drum and Jam.

Canon does not recommend the use of Transfer Material in the CLC series. Canon does have a recommended Heat Transfer Paper for Fabric item # 6094A082AA that will work with the copier.

Canon does recommend aftermarket transfer paper do the damage possible to the fixing rollers. It's possible you could get a Service Tech to adjust the Attraction charge in the copiers service mode to make this paper work better. The CLC 1100 series this very fussy about paper and some papers will just not work. The newer Canon Color copiers use a Transfer Belt which eliminate the bends and provide a straight through paper path much improving the performance with odd or heavy papers.

Canon clc-700 stops copying when paper sticks to drum

Could be one of two things.

Either the transfer / separation corona wire is dirty / broken, or the separation current is set wrong.

or

The drum separation claws aren't moving. Possibly a stuck solenoid.
