Cycle just continues with the pot symbol blinking

My Viking DFUD041 just hums or continues swishing or running with the Pot symbol blinking. Now when I look up the symbol in troubleshooting guide it says a blocked drain. I took the hose off the trap and attached a shop vac to it to see and nothing. Even when turning off the main switch and unplugging when I plug back in the motor still runs. I took the screen off and it was clear. Could it be inside?

- It wound up being the drain hose was split at the bottom. The vikings have a saftey pump. When water runs into the pan the pump keeps running. It does this so water doesnt flow all over the floor.

disconnect the hose and run it into a bucket, is it pumping freely?.

did you check the trap for a blockage?

You may have a leak in the pump housing area below the unit, this would cause the drain pump to run continually.
